São Paulo Product Seal

The São Paulo State Government, through the Secretary of Agriculture and Supply, created, by Law 10.481, of 12/29/1999, the "Product of São Paulo" Seal, as part of the Agribusiness Product Quality Certification System. 

The System (voluntary adhesion) is valid only for companies in the State of São Paulo, it certifies products that have differentiated superior quality, through control of the entire production process, within the principle known as "From seed to plate".

What does the São Paulo Product Seal mean? 

It is a "seal of quality assurance of the product", with verification of its processing and origin records, to offer the consumer a product of differentiated quality.

The seal aims to make available to consumers processed or industrialized "In Natura" products that present high quality.

It promotes the certification of products whose differentiated agricultural production or agroindustrial processing methods guarantee characteristics that make them special and also increases the product's and agroindustrial's income.
