GLOBALG.A.P: A private organization which establishes voluntary standards for the certification of agricultural products worldwide.

The GLOBALG.A.P. standard was developed to assure consumers that food production at the farm level is carried out with the minimization of negative impacts of agricultural operations on the environment, reduction of chemical use, and an assured responsible approach to the health and safety-related matters of the employees, as well as animal health.

GLOBALG.A.P. is responsible for over 112,000 certified producers, 1,400 trained inspectors and auditors, certifying more than 409 different agricultural products.
